7773 Flow & Immersion Mounting

Brand: Honeywell International Inc
Precise and reliable pH and ORP measurement and analysis are vital for a variety of industrial processes.

Honeywell’s range of pH and ORP monitoring systems include mounting capabilities such as the 7773 which are compatible with its entire range of analyzers, transmitters and controllers.

What Is It?

7773 mounting capabilities address the industrial measurements of pH and ORP in flow through or immersion applications. With seven housing configurations, the 7773 is available with the widest range of electrode, preamplifier, automatic temperature compensator and mounting assembly options.

The flexible wetted material choices include 316 stainless steel, glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene or Ryton making the assembly ideal for use in corrosive solutions at pressures up to 1034 kPa (150 psig) and temperatures up to 130°C (266°F).

The 7773 mountings can be used with either the Durafet® II or Meredian pH/ORP electrodes. The Durafet II electrodes are non-glass pH electrodes that have fast response times, are virtually unbreakable and are suited for a range of processes while the Meredian glass electrodes offer cost-effective, yet accurate pH measurement.

How Does It Work?

The 7773 can be configured to suit diverse needs. For flow applications, it is configured to act as a sample flow chamber. Once installed in process pipework the electrodes can be easily removed for maintenance and calibration without having to uninstall the flow chamber part of the housing. In immersion applications the 7773 unit can be easily connected to an immersion pipe by the ¾-inch NPT female connector on top of the housing.

Preamplifier options allow interface with Honeywell or other pH instrumentation. The preamplifier circuitry is sealed against moisture and electrically shielded by its metal enclosure. The internal preamplifier enables the pH signal to be sent over ordinary unshielded wire in excess of 305 m (1,000 ft.) to the measuring instrument.

What Problems Does It Solve?

The 7773 mounting assembly facilitates accurate pH measurement resulting in efficient product quality and reagent control. In addition, features such as the long lifespan of Durafet II electrodes and the gel refill kit capability bring significant cost savings for the users.
