What Is It?
Honeywell’s 7777DVP series provides fast, accurate and dependable pH measurement in the most demanding industrial applications such as wastewater influent/effluent, neutralization, cooling towers and process pH measurements.
The assembly comes with Durafet III pH electrodes that are fast, durable and offer a reliable combination of measuring and reference electrodes together with an integral automatic temperature compensator in a 1-piece corrosion-resistant molded Ryton body. In addition, the assembly also features the new waterproof quick-disconnect Vario Pin connector which enables easier installation and maintenance of the assembly.
How Does It Work?
The Durafet III pH electrodes are installed to the process by either submersing the electrode or mounting it into a ¾-inch threaded connection. The advanced electrodes use non-glass, ISFET (Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor) technology for the pH sensor which eliminates the conventional fragile glass pH sensor.
Their compact size eliminates the need for O-rings or special seals and allows easy adaptation for in-line or submersion mounting.
The combination Durafet III electrodes include a replaceable reference junction frit and gel which adds further to its durability. The electrodes produce low impedance pH signals even at low temperatures with no sodium error or ORP interference. They can be interfaced with virtually any existing pH instrumentation, allowing users to wide freedom of use.
