Scully Signal's Scul-GardTM Break-Away cables protect your existing investment in cables, wiring, and controllers while allowing you to recover from a drive-off in minutes without an electrician. Simply remove the remaining Scul-GardTM adapter piece and reconnect using the existing original plug and cable. 

Designed for use as an extension for most Scully plug and cable assemblies, the Scul-GardTM Break-Away cable is engineered to protect the primary cable, wiring, and controller from damage. 
The primary cable is minimally affected and can be reconnected immediately.

  • The unique patent-pending design uses a new connector, which attaches directly to the existing Scully Plug and Cable. In the event a drive-off occurs, the break-away cable will be pulled from the socket and will break away in a controlled manner that protects the truck socket, cable assembly and rack controller
  • The sequential break-away cable will not separate at forces encountered during normal operation but will separate during drive-offs without damaging other components
  • If a drive-off occurs, the break-away cable is easily removed and replaced to restore operation using the existing standard cable
  • Fits most existing Scully Plug and Cable assemblies
  • Made from the same rugged, reliable and petroleum resistant components used in all Scully Plug and Cables
  • Uses existing wiring
