Description
Honeywell’s DirectLine® DL2000 Meredian Glass Mountings are used with the Honeywell’s DirectLine DL421 pH transmitter modules and combine Honeywell’s unique sensing technologies and advanced microelectronics technology to offer a cost-effective pH measurement solution.
What Is It?
The DL2000 Meredian Glass Mountings are used with the DL421 transmitter to form a packaged Honeywell solution for data acquisition and control, and are suited for in-line and submersion mounting in light industrial applications.
The transmitter is designed for use in environments where moisture and dust are present. Intrinsically safe, it is housed in a weatherproof, corrosion-resistant sealed enclosure.
DL421 pH transmitter modules have an integral local HMI that simplifies installation and shortens calibration times. No panel is required for mounting, thus eliminating the cost of panel mount installations.
How Does It Work?
The DL2000 comprises a glass pH sensor, reference electrode and integral temperature sensor in a single body construction for accurate and reliable measurement in light industrial applications.
The electrode can be screwed directly into process pipework, connected with a ¾-inch NPT in-line T piece or with a ¾-inch NPT threaded connection for submersion applications. The electrode cable at the electrode end is sealed to give total IP integrity. An IP68 probe cable connector for remote measurement applications assures integrity of the electrode to transmitter hook up.
What Problems Does It Solve?
DirectLine DL2000 Glass Mountings offer considerable cost savings through reliable and accurate pH measurement using glass pH sensors, resulting in improved product quality and reagent control. By simplifying installation design, it minimizes cable and panel construction costs.
