Description
Accurate process measurement and control are essential in a range of industrial processes for efficient product quality and reagent control. Honeywell’s DirectLine DL3000 Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) sensors along with the DL422 ORP DirectLine module combine the latest in microelectronics technology with unique sensing technologies for accurate ORP measurements.
What Is It?
DirectLine DL3000 ORP sensors and DL422 ORP modules combine electrodes, sensors and transmitters into a single device to provide reliable measurements.
The rugged combination electrodes offer fast-response time and correction of process treatment. A choice of ORP electrodes with platinum or gold sensors make it ideal for diverse process needs. Suitable for in-line and submersion applications, they can be mounted in any position.
The DL422 ORP module’s plug-in modular design of the transmitter makes it easy to install, use and maintain. Its local display and keypad allow easy set-up, calibration and operation, the plug-in design enables operators to easily remove and replace the probe.
How Does It Work?
The DirectLine DL3000 ORP system comprises an electronics transmitter module and a sensor which is mounted remotely to the DL422 transmitter. A Honeywell Meridian ORP sensor connected to the transmitter’s sensor side and a 4-20 mA weatherproof power output cable complete the system.
The module is designed for outside use in harsh industrial environments and can be mounted on a 2-inch pipe, wall or DIN rail. Signal output of the DirectLine transmitter is a standard 4-20mA output proportional to ORP.
What Problems Does It Solve?
Honeywell’s DL3000 ORP Sensors series is easy to install, virtually maintenance-free and provides users with cost effective yet accurate and dependable process measurement. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free process, enhanced control and improved product quality.
