Description
VersaFlow Magnetic Flow Sensors are highly versatile, customizable and offer precise flow measurement for conductive liquids, pastes and slurries.
The sensors provide accurate flow measurement in a range of applications, including rapidly changing media, pH jumps, large amounts of solids or pulsating flow.
What Is It?
VersaFlow Magnetic Flow Sensors comprise a range of process measurement devices used in industrial and manufacturing operations where production efficiency and an end-product’s quality depend on the accuracy of measurement. A variety of options are available to address user needs ranging from small to large line sizes and from the simplest to the most demanding applications.
The product is available in five variants:
- Mag 4000: A robust sensor designed for the most demanding applications
- Mag 1000: The optimum solution for water and waste water applications
- Mag 100: An economical solution for a wide range of applications
- Mag 2000: A ceramic-lined electromagnetic flow sensor resistant against abrasion, corrosion and vacuum conditions
- Mag 3000: A sensor for the food and beverage industry manufactured in conformance to FDA requirements.
How Does It Work?
The obstruction-free design of VersaFlow Magnetic Flow Sensors allows the flow measurement of all conductive liquids, pastes and slurries, regardless of solids content. In addition, their versatile design and a variety of process-vetted materials allow customized installation based on application requirements. New virtual reference grounding eliminates the need for grounding electrodes or rings, reducing installation costs and potential leak points. The same electronics platform is completely interchangeable across all VersaFlow Magnetic Flow Sensors.
What Problems Does It Solve?
VersaFlow Magnetic Flow Sensors are available for deployment across chemicals and petrochemicals, and food and beverage industries as well as water and waste water applications. Product versatility enables the sensors to deliver significant cost savings during planning, procurement, installation and training.
